Regular pesos fluctuate quite a lot but current rates are about 15 Cuban Pesos to the convertible Cuban Peso (CUC). Basically, there are no locations to use this currency at tourist locations. The only places to use these are Cuban peso stores which are few and far between but there are one or two in Havana city near the Capitolio. They are also the only currency in farmers markets for fresh vegetables and fruit. You can nevertheless find the same fruit packaged western style at supermarkets for 100´s times more…
