US bill announced to allow travel for all Americans to Cuba

In an unsurprising move by House democrats and, in line with President Obama´s campaign rhetoric, Senators Bill Delahunt (D-MA) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ) have proposed a law to end Travel restrictions for ALL AMERICANS to Cuba. This is twenty steps further than President Obama´s campaign trail promises to free up travel restrictions for Cuban Americans to Cuba. Apparently the vote on this law is scheduled for March this year. Let’s see if those from the land of the free will now be able to exercise their lifelong constitutional rights and travel where they wish. This is not the first time Mr. Delahunt has tried to overturn this ban but, evidently, his previous attempts failed under George Bush who simply promised to veto any law he saw with C.U.B.A written on it unless, of course, it was a law to further bind the Caribbean nation.
